Currently under development by a German company, Ploota is the first rescue collar for water activities.
Every year, about 360,000 people die by drowning worldwide.
Ploota is a very lightweight necklace that is worn around the neck. Autonomous, it detects emergency situations (prolonged immersion in water). In case of danger, the collar releases two C02 cushions that inflate on either side of the collar. The swimmer came to the surface, head above water! It is also possible to activate the collar manually.
The collar is easily reusable since it is sufficient to change the C02 cartridges to inflate the buoys and fold them inside the compartments for this purpose.
It is already possible to pre-order your necklace on their website: www.ploota.de
